Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando, FL seeks a Circuit Design Engineering Manager to lead the ModSTAR MACE team delivering cutting-edge electrical solutions for air, land, sea, and space platforms. You will staff, mentor, and guide a high-performing group responsible for sensor-enabled electrical subsystems and complex hardware integration.

You will oversee design, analysis, and integration for Special Programs, run design reviews, and drive technical issue resolutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited college.
• Leadership experience in airborne sensors design, architecture, build, qualification, and production.
• Experience with Electrical Systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing electrical-subsystem team and provide hands-on technical expertise.
• Define staffing needs, recruit top talent, and manage onboarding and performance reviews.
• Coach engineers to grow the Electrical Systems competency across the portfolio.
• Oversee technical execution of electrical system design, analysis, and integration for Special Programs projects.
• Conduct design reviews and drive resolution of technical issues to meet requirements.
• Develop and deliver training, career development, and recognition programs.
• Collaborate with the Chief Engineer and cross-functional partners to align resources with mission objectives.
• Manage schedule, budget, and risk for electrical-subsystem deliverables and report status to leadership.
• Foster an inclusive, innovative culture encouraging new ideas.
