Job summary

Hytek Finishes in Kent, WA is seeking an Aerospace Chrome Assistant for the chrome department. This full-time, non-exempt role is onsite on the 3rd shift with training on the 1st shift, reports to the Shift Supervisor or Value Stream Manager, and works from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English and communicate with team members.
• Regular and dependable attendance is expected.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; some areas may require an export license.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Plating Operators to complete tasks and ensure on-time delivery.
• Follow technique cards, purchase orders, drawings, and operator instructions.
• Prepare parts for operations; use appropriate tooling and fixtures.
• Sign off on completed work after inspection and verification.
• Review paperwork and report errors to supervisor and QA.
• Understand pre/post cleaning requirements and QA procedures.
• Be familiar with safety precautions and avoid injuries.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and Kaizen events as needed.
