Job summary

Hytek Finishes is seeking an Aerospace Cadmium Assistant for the 1st shift in Kent, WA. The role involves preparing parts for cadmium plating, following procedure cards, and ensuring quality through Operator Self Verification and refereed safety measures.

Typical duties include pretreatment, cleaning, placement in fixtures, and supporting continuous improvement with experienced operators. Full benefits and competitive pay are offered with a 1st shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have a regular and dependable attendance record.
• Ability to Read/Write Communicate in English with other employees, Customers, and auditors.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. An export license will be required to work in all areas of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Work with experienced Operators and Department Leads to complete work and prioritize tasks.
• Follow technique cards, Purchase Orders, and instructions; sign off after completion and verification.
• Review paperwork and Operator Self Verification; notify supervisor and QA of errors.
• Prepare parts prior to operations including cleaning, layout, and racking; use appropriate tooling.
