Job summary

Hytek Finishes Co. in Kent, WA is seeking an Aerospace Chrome Assistant on the 2nd shift, with training on the 1st shift.

This non-exempt, full-time position supports the Chrome department by preparing parts for plating and following FAA DOT drug testing requirements. You will work with experienced Plating Operators to ensure on-time delivery, follow instructions, and maintain quality through self-verification and proper paperwork.

Qualifications

• Regular and dependable attendance.
• Ability to read/write and communicate in English.
• Must wear PPE (glasses, hearing protection, etc.).
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Plating Operators to prioritize tasks for on-time delivery.
• Follow technique cards, PO's and drawings; respect operator instructions.
• Prepare parts prior to operations with proper tooling and fixtures.
• Sign off on work after completion and verification inspection.
• Review paperwork and QA inspections; notify supervisor of errors.
• Maintain knowledge of pre/post cleaning surface finish requirements.
