Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC Structurals Carson City) seeks a Product Engineer to translate customer drawings and product requirements into robust manufacturing processes for investment castings.

You will work with cross-functional teams to support new development, production release, and ongoing manufacturing improvements. The role emphasizes design-for-manufacturing, tooling development, dimensional control, and technical problem solving to ensure conforming castings and cost-efficient

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing, Metallurgical or related engineering field.
• Experience in manufacturing or process engineering in a production setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of investment casting, tooling, wax, shell, or related metal casting processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and launch of new investment casting products.
• Review drawings, specs, and requirements to define manufacturing needs.
• Develop manufacturing plans and milestones for new products.
• Interpret complex drawings and apply GD&T to ensure manufacturability.
• Support continuous improvement of cost, yield, and process performance.
• Provide technical guidance to Manufacturing and Quality teams.
