Qualifications

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, reading technical manuals/schematics and basic math.
• Technical knowledge of casting industry and/or metallurgy is desired
• Excellent technical skills
• Ability to stand for long periods, work in a noisy environment, and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple pieces of equipment and monitor inventory levels.
• Make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal efficiency of equipment
• Perform work orders in the optimal order for productivity
• Assist in preventative maintenance
• Help develop processes for equipment
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines in the work environment
• Investigate equipment failures and perform quick repairs
• Support process engineering with maintenance and process improvements
