Job Title: Process Technician

Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace, Glendale specializes in the manufacturing of precision magnesium and aluminum sand castings. We have an exciting opportunity for a Process Technician.

• Operate multiple pieces of equipment and monitor inventory levels.
• Make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal efficiency of equipment
• Perform work orders in the optimal order for productivity.
• Assist in preventative maintenance
• Ensures adherence to safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Performs work orders in the optimal order for productivity.
• Investigates equipment failures to determine the cause and makes quick repairs.
• Supports process engineering with maintenance and process improvements.

Position Requirements

• 1-3 years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing, reading technical manuals/schematics and basic math
• Technical knowledge of casting industry and or metallurgy is desired
• Excellent technical skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, work in a noisy environment, and occasionally lift heavy equipment up to 50 lbs.
