Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) Euclid is seeking an Engineering Co‑op to support New Product Development and Production Engineering projects. You will work with manufacturing to develop robust processes and tooling for the company’s growth in aerospace investment casting, focusing on dies, gages, and related tooling.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a BS in Engineering, have strong problem‑solving skills, and can travel locally to CPP facilities and vendors for technical support.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing BS in Engineering; junior or senior year preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Principles.

Aufgaben

• Develop, maintain, and teach best practice investment casting procedures and practices.
• Construct dies (shrink factor analysis), gages, and support tooling for cores, wax patterns, and castings.
• Interface with tooling vendors and CPP purchasing to produce quality tools at a competitive price.
• Analyze processes to identify yields issues using data analysis techniques (statistical methods, DOE, 6 Sigma).
• Interpret GD&T drawings, specifications, CAD/NX models, and layout reports.
• Document work procedures and collaborate with other departments to meet objectives.
• Audit production lots for adherence to techniques and repeatability of results.
