Job summary

Wayne Wire Cloth Products, Inc. is seeking a Calibration Specialist to ensure compliance with ISO 17025, AS9100, and NADCAP standards. You will perform in-house calibrations, manage external vendor calibration programs, and support audits to strengthen our quality system.

Responsibilities include Gage R&Rs, CAPA-driven improvements, and training teammates on calibration procedures. Strong experience in aerospace manufacturing and familiarity with Keyence equipment are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate/technical degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in precision or aerospace manufacturing.
• Audit Experience: Direct AS9100 and NADCAP audit experience.
• Software Skills: Hands-on with calibration management software (e.g., GagePack) and ERP systems.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of ISO 17025 and ISO 9001; Keyence or similar tools a plus.
• Math & Analytical Skills: Proficiency in statistics, fractions, ratios, geometry/trigonometry.
• Computer Proficiency: MS Office Suite for data entry, reporting, and email.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-house calibrations of gauges and measurement tools.
• Coordinate external calibration services, review vendor certifications, manage quotes, and optimize costs.
• Execute Gage R&Rs / MSA and capability studies for FAIR, PPAP, APQP.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits for AS9100 and NADCAP.
• Assist with Keyence program validations and general quality procedures.
• Collect and report data to drive continuous improvement and audit readiness.
• Train and assist team members on calibration and quality procedures.
