Testek, a Wixom, Michigan-based leader in aerospace and aircraft component test equipment, is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to maintain and improve the Quality Management System, focusing on calibration and document control across departments.

The role involves supporting audits, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure milestones, customer acceptance, and revenue execution are achieved. On-site, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or equivalent relevant experience.
• Must be a certified auditor for ISO 9001:2015 or be available to complete training within the first 30 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Manage the company’s calibration program.
• Manage the document control system.
• Manage internal communications related to quality and document control.
• Assist in reevaluating existing procedures and processes and developing new procedures, processes, and associated documentation.
• Assist with internal audits.
• Accompany the Quality Manager during customer and government audits.
• Assist with inspections of equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects within Quality and other departments, as applicable.
• Work with Engineering, Operations, Project Management, Purchasing, and other functions to resolve quality issues affecting project execution.
• Support the development, tracking, and reporting of quality-related KPIs.
