Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico is seeking an Engineer II to join our Global Technical Solutions team. You will create precise 3D models and 2D drawings for aerospace components, using NX, Creo, CATIA, or SolidWorks, and ensure compliance with ASME Y14.5 GD&T.

The role is hybrid—3 days onsite, 2 remote—and requires residency in Puerto Rico; relocation is not offered. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform tolerance analyses, and contribute to PLM records and

Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated English communication (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship required for access to program information.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for aerospace components.
• Translate designs into product definitions meeting standards (GD&T).
• Perform tolerance analyses to ensure form, fit, and function.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing and quality teams to satisfy requirements.
• Support PLM records and manage design changes in systems like Teamcenter.
• Contribute to design reviews and manufacturability improvements.
• Adhere to Collins Aerospace lifecycle program management processes.
