Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Mechanical CAD Engineer to lead Creo Parametric modeling, MBD, and drafting for complex aerospace hardware in a hybrid Clearwater, FL environment. You will set standards per ASME Y14.5/Y14.41/Y14.47/Y14.100 and collaborate across manufacturing, quality, and electrical engineering to resolve producibility issues.

The role requires hands-on Creo Parametric mastery, experience with MBD, PLM integration, and strong GD&T knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.

Responsibilities

Create robust 3D models and assemblies in PTC Creo Parametric for complex aerospace hardware.
Model cast and machined parts, including draft, parting lines, machining allowances, and casting-to-machined family relationships.
Design and document cable and harness assemblies using Creo Cabling, including routing and connector definitions.
Develop printed board assembly models through ECAD-MCAD collaboration, covering board outline and mechanical interfaces.
Author Model-Based Definition data per ASME Y14.41 and Y14.47, including semantic PMI and annotation planes.
Produce 2D drawings with GD&T per ASME Y14.5 and Y14.100 practices.
Manage CAD data in PLM (Teamcenter/Windchill), including BOM and change management.
Support transition from drawing-based to model-based enterprise workflows.
