Job summary

Actalent, a global engineering services firm, seeks a CAD Designer/Drafter to create aerospace part drawings and composite layups for a Portland, OR project. You will draft fuselage components, specify composite layups, and revise designs using SolidWorks and NX on a hybrid/onsite setup for a 4–6 month engagement.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD and SolidWorks with NX experience.
• Aerospace drafting and design experience preferred.
• Experience supporting mechanical engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Create fuselage and detailed drawings for UAS parts based on models.
• Define drawings of composite parts to provide specifications for layup and assembly.
• Revise previous designs using SolidWorks and NX.
