Job summary

TEEMA seeks experienced Mechanical Designers to join a growing aerospace engineering team on an onsite contract in Central Point, Oregon. You will use SolidWorks to design aircraft structures and components, creating detailed 2D/3D drawings and engineering documentation for high-profile programs.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will perform tolerance analysis, develop BOMs, support prototyping, design reviews, production, installation, and testing, and ensure FAA/AS9100 compliance

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of mechanical design experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, or industrial manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (required).
• Experience creating mechanical assemblies, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Working knowledge of DFM, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Mechanical Designer (3 Openings) – Aerospace

We're seeking experienced Mechanical Designers to join a growing engineering team supporting the design, development, and modernization of advanced aircraft systems. This is a long-term onsite contract (12+ months) offering the opportunity to work on high-profile aerospace programs in a collaborative, hands‑on environment.

In this role, you'll use SolidWorks to design and model mechanical systems, aircraft structures, and components while creating detailed 2D/3D drawings, layouts, and engineering documentation. You'll partner with cross-functional engineering teams to improve product performance, manufacturability, and compliance, while supporting prototyping, design reviews, production, installation, and testing. You'll also perform tolerance stack-ups, develop bills of materials (BOMs), and ensure designs meet FAA, AS9100, and engineering standards.

What We're Looking For:

• 3–5+ years of mechanical design experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, or industrial manufacturing
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (required)
