This role requires a strong aerospace background, attention to detail, and ability to work in a dynamic environment. Denver-based contract position with onsite and some remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

• Strong GD&T knowledge and ASME Y14.5 drawings.
• Proficient in Siemens NX for 2D/3D design and integration.
• Experience creating NX model/drawing templates.
• Surface dimensioning for composite components.
• Background in aerospace mechanical engineering.
• Thrives in a dynamic, high-stakes engineering environment.
• Strong attention to detail and manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D/3D mechanical designs for aerospace components in NX.
• Author clear drawings applying GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Create/maintain NX templates to ensure design consistency.
• Perform surface dimensioning for composites to ensure manufacturability.
• Integrate designs into larger aerospace systems with cross-functional teams.
• Review/update designs to improve performance and manufacturability.
• Support design reviews with models, drawings and documentation.
