Job summary

Great Hire seeks a Quality Control Inspector for wire cable and harnesses in Westlake Village, CA. The role is full-time and in-person with on-the-job training. You will inspect and test components, ensuring conformance to aerospace/military standards and blueprints.

Under supervision, perform basic assembly operations and use hand/power tools, gauges, and measurement tools. Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC J-STD-001, NASA-STD-8739.4 is a plus; certification is a big plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform detail-oriented tasks, including inspection and testing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, traveler/routers, bills of materials, and wire lists.
• Familiarity with standard specs such as IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC J-STD-001, and NASA-STD-8739.4 is preferred.
• Certification to IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC J-STD-001, and NASA-STD-8739.4 is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• With supervision, perform basic and routine assembly operations on components and sub-assemblies per military, aerospace, and other standards.
• Use cable assembling hand and power tools and measure with rulers and tape to ensure proper specifications.
