Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. is seeking an assembler to perform a wide range of electronic and mechanical assembly tasks, including wiring, harnessing, and PCB work.

The role emphasizes quality, safety, and adherence to procedures within a dynamic production environment. The position requires reading engineering drawings, basic soldering, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team; DoD security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and wire lists.
• General understanding of job with limited technical comprehension.
• Familiarity with soldering and compression connection tools.
• Good color perception and visual inspection ability.
• Ability to work independently or in a team; DoD security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Assembles components, sub-assemblies or full assemblies.
• Performs setups and adjustments to tolerances.
• Assembles electronic equipment cables, harnesses, chassis, PC boards, or mechanical panels.
• Disassembles, modifies, reworks and reassembles, as needed.
• Adheres to safety and company procedures while performing tasks.
• May assist in training lower level assemblers and complete housekeeping duties.
• Other duties as assigned or required.
