Inversion, an aerospace and defense company based in Los Angeles, seeks a proactive Buyer/ Planner to join our engineering team. You will manage end-to-end purchasing and material planning for engineering-related parts, source quotes, ensure on-time deliveries, and forecast procurement needs to support programs.

Collaborate with engineers and suppliers to optimize cost, lead times, and quality. The role requires hands-on attention to detail, strong planning, and the ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 4+ years in Buyer/Planner or similar purchasing roles.
• Experience supporting hardware environments (aerospace/defense preferred).
• Strong knowledge of procurements, PO management, and supplier quotes.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end purchasing and material planning for engineering needs.
• Source quotes, evaluate suppliers, and manage purchase orders with approvals.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and inventory updates to reflect status.
• Forecast material requirements to protect program schedules and avoid shortages.
