Job summary

PLI Manufacturing, part of Phoenix Defense, seeks a Buyer I to support aerospace fabrication supply chains in Gilbert, AZ. You will issue POs, track pricing, and coordinate with Program Managers and Quality to ensure timely, compliant deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years purchasing and inventory experience, government/military procurement valued.
• Experience with ERP/MRP software and MS Office.
• Ability to communicate clearly via phone, email and reports.
• Ability to solve problems, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Issue and manage purchase orders to suppliers for raw material and components.
• Ensure PO pricing recorded per procedures.
• Provide daily status updates to Program Managers and planners.
• Coordinate with Quality to meet AS9100 requirements and Approved Supplier List.
• Expedite delivery dates to support production plans.
• Address supplier issues and assist with returns and nonconforming material.
• Support procurement activities as needed by management.
