Job summary

Accurus Aerospace Wichita is seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist to procure materials and services for aerospace components. You will manage quotes, supplier negotiations, purchase orders, and lead times within ERP/MRP systems to support on-time production.

The role requires 2+ years in purchasing, knowledge of export controls/ITAR, and familiarity with aerospace industry standards. On-site work in Wichita, KS with a comprehensive benefits package after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing purchasing role
• Aerospace/defense purchasing experience preferred
• ERP/MRP systems experience required
• Knowledge of export controls ITAR highly desirable
• AS9100/Nadcap experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain timeliness and integrity of MRP data in ERP
• Prepare and obtain supplier quotes (RFQs) from internal quotes
• Review bids and negotiate pricing to meet quality and delivery needs
• Coordinate cross‑functional procurement with operations, PM, and engineering
• Create and issue purchase orders and manage changes in the system
• Communicate with suppliers clearly via phone, email, and in person
