Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) offers a Non-Technical Intern summer program in Plano, TX, delivering hands-on experience in an aerospace and defense environment. You’ll work with industry experts, contribute to real projects, and gain insights into business operations through mentoring, workshops, and direct involvement in company initiatives.

Responsibilities include supporting project tasks, attending planning meetings, and assisting with data collection, analysis, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in college or technical school, with at least 6 months until graduation after end of internship.
• Currently enrolled in a university or college program pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Strong organization skills and work ethic; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Participate in actual projects and contribute to team objectives by completing assigned tasks.
• Receive guidance and mentorship from experienced professionals in your field.
• Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decisions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports as required.
• Attend planning meetings to understand project requirements and team goals.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of best practices.
• Participate in workshops designed to provide a deeper understanding of the business and company culture.
