Job summary

Safran Aerospace Composites in Rochester, NH, seeks a bonding process operator to manage equipment for small and large parts in a third shift role. The position requires adherence to standard methods and safety practices and reports to a Value Stream Manager with guidance from a Team Lead.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and manufacturing experience; familiarity with composites, epoxy, and ISO/AS9100 standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with composite materials preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude; metric system familiarity preferred.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination; ability to manipulate small items with speed and accuracy.
• Requires good organization skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of working with epoxy and adhesive materials.
• Ability to participate effectively in a team environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills including data entry and keyboarding.
• Knowledge of and compliance with AS9100C or ISO9001 standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate bonding process equipment for small parts (bond layup / de-flash / surface prep) and large parts.
• Follow standard work methods and safe work habits to ensure customer requirements are met.
• This position reports to a Value Stream Manager and works under a Team Lead.
• This is a third shift position, Monday-Thursday, 9pm-7am.
