Job summary

Barnes Aerospace Ogden division is seeking a Bencher to perform skilled bench work and assemble parts to exact specifications. You will use hand tools and machinery, read blueprints, and verify with calibrated measuring devices to ensure quality.

The role reports to the Production Supervisor and requires attention to detail in a schedule-driven environment. Shift is 3:30pm–1:00am, Monday–Friday with every other Friday night, plus a 15% shift premium.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy under deadline pressure.
• Proficiency with computer systems and shop math is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drill, rivet and assemble parts to close tolerance.
• Use hand tools and machinery to bring parts to customer specifications.
• Use calibrated measuring devices to ensure parts meet specs.
• Work with others to repair and rework parts as needed.
• Interpret prints and process sheets to perform layouts and sign work orders.
