Job summary

RTX is seeking a student or recent graduate for an internship/co‑op role in automation for aerospace and defense products, located onsite in McKinney, TX. You will participate in a disciplined project team to design, procure, and validate automation systems used in assembly and test of Raytheon/RTX products.

You will learn Creo modeling, draw creation, and how to troubleshoot and maintain production automation cells while coordinating with engineers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and enrolled through internship/co‑op.
• Minimum 60 credit hours by start date.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a multi‑discipline team to design, procure and build automation for assembly and test of RTX products.
• Engage with program engineers, program management, and operations leadership to define automation requirements.
• Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes and discuss automation project definitions, fabrication and test.
