Job summary

Triumph Systems, Electronics & Control, based in Windsor, CT, is seeking an Assembly and Test Technician to assemble and test end units, following blueprints and engineering instructions. The role emphasizes mechanical and hydraulic assembly work and strict adherence to quality procedures.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (technical training preferred) and 3 years of aviation maintenance, military, or manufacturing experience, with strong teamwork and precise communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, technical or vocational training desired.
• 3 years in aviation maintenance, military or manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of technical aspects of the job.
• Experience with mechanical and/or hydraulic assembly work.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions, concentrate, and work well in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Builds and assembles components using procedures, reading blueprints and engineering instructions.
• Uses inspection equipment to ensure correct subassemblies and assemblies.
• Tests units according to Customer Acceptance Test Procedures and instructions.
• Meets production deadlines by following proper procedures for product completion.
• Assembles components ensuring proper connections and fastening of parts.
• Tests assembled parts to ensure quality according to specifications.
