Job summary

Triumph Systems, Electronics & Control in Windsor, CT seeks a 1st Shift Assembly and Test Technician to produce end unit products by assembling and testing parts and subassemblies. The successful candidate will have experience with mechanical and/or hydraulic assembly work.

The position requires reading blueprints, following procedures, and working to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality in a team environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • 3 years in aviation maintenance, military or manufacturing.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of technical aspects.
  • Experience with mechanical and/or hydraulic assembly work.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions; concentration and teamwork.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Build and assemble components using assembly test procedures and blueprints.
  • Adhere to specifications for subassemblies using inspection equipment and drawings.
  • Test units per Customer Acceptance Test Procedures and written instructions.
  • Meet production deadlines by following correct procedures for completion.
  • Assemble components by checking connections for fit and securing parts.
  • Ensure product quality by testing assembled parts per quality procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
