Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an Assembly and Test Inspector for our Jupiter facility on a 2nd shift (3:30pm–Midnight) with a shift differential. You will inspect engine assemblies and components using a range of tools, read engineering drawings, and ensure dimensional accuracy on power systems.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to procedures in a state-of-the-art aerospace environment. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of formal power-plant mechanics

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing.
• Experience reading drawings and specifications preferred.
• A&P license preferred; PIV certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Use power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine assembly and components.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections following established methods.
• Work from inspection procedures and engineering drawings to plan inspections.
• Accept or reject material based on findings and complete related paperwork.
• Operate fixed and variable measuring instruments and verify dimensions.
• Follow procedures to verify dimensions and record results.
