RTX is hiring an Assembly and Test Inspector for its FAA-regulated MRO Commercial Engine Center in Florida. The role involves second shift responsibilities with a shift differential.

You will use precision tools to inspect engine assemblies and components, following standardized methods and engineering drawings. Required are a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of formal power-plant mechanics/testing training.

Competenze

• High school or GED required.
• 2 years formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing.
• Familiarity with engine components, assemblies, and inspection procedures.

Mansioni

• Perform functional checks on engine assemblies and components using power and mechanical tools.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections per procedures and drawings.
• Record results and determine acceptance or rejection of material.
• Work from written procedures and engineering drawings to plan inspections.
• Operate fixed and variable measuring instruments and automated measuring machines.
