Job summary

Amazon in Redmond, WA is seeking skilled technicians to support full-scale production of the Leo satellites. You will assemble LRUs and aerospace components, perform detailed testing, and maintain strict safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Role requires adherence to procedures, ability to handle lab equipment, and readiness to work 4/10s on multiple shifts with potential overtime. Candidates should be able to lift up to 25 lbs and pass export controls.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment.
• 1+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments.
• 1+ years working with test tools and test methods that validate the system.
• Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Assemble and test LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, avionics, or other complex aerospace builds.
• Participate in process improvements and maintain floor stock inventory.
• Independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables.
• Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance.
• Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations.
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Support preventative maintenance on test equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients.
• Contribute to improving SOPs and safety procedures.
