Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking technicians to support full-scale production of the Leo satellites in Redmond, WA. You will assemble, test, and troubleshoot LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, and avionics with a strong focus on safety and quality.

The role requires 1+ years in high-traceability manufacturing, experience with hand tools and precision measuring devices, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment, or relevant trade school certification
• 1+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments (i.e., Calipers, multi-meters, torque wrenches)
• 1+ years working with test tools and test methods that adequately validate the system
• Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions and safety procedures
• Assemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, avionics, or other complex aerospace builds
• Participate in process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory
• You will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables
• Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance
• Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
• Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
• Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc)
• Your work may include contributing to improving SOPs and safety procedures
