Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Covina, CA is seeking a Production Technician – Assembly on 2nd shift to fabricate, assemble and repair aerospace components using precision tools. You will read blueprints, lay out materials, cut, trim, drill, and verify dimensions. Requires 2–4 years in manufacturing and a High School diploma.

We offer 80 hours PTO, 10 holidays, medical/dental/vision insurance and a 401(k) plan. Eligible for quarterly bonus; must be a US Person.

Qualifications

Manufacturing experience 2-4 years.
Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent GED.
Must be a US Person.

Responsibilities

Safely follow safety rules and provide recommendations to improve safety.
Meet production and quality standards to achieve customer satisfaction.
Fabricate, assemble, rework, and repair products per Master Work Instructions using tools and equipment.
Read work orders and documentation to determine methods and specifications.
Layout cutting lines on plastic materials per templates, blueprints or samples.
Cut material to size using hand and power tools.
Trim, drill, ream, countersink, grind, and finish parts to spec.
Repair and rework damaged parts per instructions.
Assemble parts and attach hardware using clamps and fixtures.
Verify dimensions with dial indicators, micrometers and calipers.
