Job summary

Blue Origin is hiring for a hands-on mechanical technician role focused on assembly, testing, and integration of cryogenic valve systems. You will support engineering teams, follow detailed work instructions, and maintain high safety and quality standards across aerospace hardware.

Relocation is provided and travel of up to 5% is expected. The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs and the ability to read engineering drawings. Expect a M-TH shift and a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in aerospace, aircraft, R&D or related fields.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving drive.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manuals.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and use lifting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, test, and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatically actuated cryogenic valves and systems.
• Perform intermediate maintenance, inspection, and repair of components.
• Assist engineers in reviewing design concepts and tooling.
• Follow and improve work instructions for complex mechanical systems.
