Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Assembly & Integration Technician to build, integrate, test, and troubleshoot aerospace systems and hardware. You will work from engineering drawings to assemble major systems, test assemblies, and support transitions from development to production in a structured, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or related field.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
• Hands-on experience with assembly and integration of structural, mechanical, fluid, and avionic systems.
• Proficiency with precision calibration tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers).
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and working at heights or in confined spaces.
• Experience with adhesives, sealants, and fasteners.
• Basic proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate subcomponents and final assemblies per engineering specs.
• Configure production areas with tooling and equipment to ensure efficient workflow.
• Operate precision calibrated tools to maintain safety and quality standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for safety and productivity.
• Perform operational tests, troubleshooting, and fault isolation for reliability of assemblies.
• Support transition from development to production and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas following 5S principles.
