Job summary

Extant Aerospace in Melbourne, Florida is seeking a skilled Assembler to build components to exact specifications using hand tools, power tools, and precision machinery. This role emphasizes accuracy, manual dexterity, and the ability to read complex instructions and blueprints.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required with four years' electronic assembly experience.
Soldering experience is required; IPC-A-620 certification is preferred.
Familiarity with blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

Interpret drawings and instructions to determine assembly requirements.
Assemble chassis, racks and final hardware; install components.
Operate tools for assembly and prep of electronic components.
Adjust materials to meet dimensional and electrical specs.
Perform go/no-go fit testing to verify standards.
Test finished products using precision hydraulic/pneumatic/electronic equipment.
Conduct varied assembly tasks including soldering, potting, labeling, crimping.
Other duties as assigned.
