Job summary

Aleron in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join the aerospace-focused manufacturing team. You will float between SMT, Post Wave, and final assembly, building chassis and subassemblies, wiring and testing as needed.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of mechanical assembly experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to work overtime to meet production needs. This is a temporary on-site role with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of Mechanical Assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Float between SMT, Post Wave and Assembly.
• Assemble chassis, racks, and other final assembly hardware and install finished assemblies or subassemblies.
• Operate equipment and tools for assembly, stuffing and prep of prefabricated electronic assemblies and other electro-mechanical components.
• Adjust or trim materials or hardware to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.
• Perform a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on components, assemblies, or sub-assemblies.
