Job summary

Rhinestahl Corporation in Mason, Ohio, is seeking an Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) Engineer to lead quality planning for new product introductions and transfers. You will drive APQP/PPAP activities and risk management with cross-functional teams.

This role requires 5+ years in quality engineering in aerospace or regulated industries, with hands-on APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and AS9100 awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) credential preferred.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP activities for new product introductions, customer transfers, and major manufacturing process changes.
• Develop and maintain quality deliverables aligned with APQP milestones and program gate reviews.
• Facilitate cross-functional risk assessments, including Design FMEA and Process FMEA.
• Recruit continuous improvement and drive corrective actions in launches.
