Job summary

This role requires collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, ensuring robust product realization and effective handoffs to manufacturing. A hybrid work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or related field.
• 3 years of product/process/manufacturing quality across lifecycle.
• Experience applying APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC in development.
• Knowledge of AS9100 or IATF16949 and lifecycle-based quality practices.
• Statistical methods for risk assessment and decision making.
• Strong analytical and communication skills across audiences.
• Travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP activities aligned with AS9145 from Concept Development through Commercial Release.
• Drive core quality planning deliverables: DFMEA, PFMEA, Process Flow, Control Plans, Risk Assessments, MSA, SPC, PPAP.
• Facilitate cross-functional risk assessments to mitigate risks.
• Align design, manufacturing capability, customer and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement QA methods: test methods, inspection strategies, sampling plans, process controls.
• Support FAI, product verification/validation, process qualification, and launch readiness.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain to resolve quality concerns and lessons learned.
• Communicate quality expectations and maintain documentation in QMS.
