Job summary

MORSE Corp seeks an Aerospace Algorithms Engineer to develop physics-based models for mission planning tools used by national security personnel. You will own the algorithm lifecycle from conception through deployment, with robust software that can be fielded by operators.

Ideal candidates hold an MS or PhD in aerospace, robotics or physics, 5+ years of experience, and strong Python, math and statistics skills. This is a US-citizenship role with potential for security clearance.

Qualifications

  • Develop fieldable software-ready solutions.
  • Experience describing systems with equations of motion derived from first-principle engineering analysis.
  • Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own algorithms throughout their lifecycle, including conception, development, documentation, deployment, and testing.
  • Process and analyze raw data
  • Simulate and validate algorithmic performance using dynamic systems.
  • Present technical work through white papers, analysis test reports, and oral presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of algorithms into software solutions.
