Job summary

MORSE Corp is seeking an Aerospace Algorithms Engineer Co-op in Cambridge, MA to develop physics-based, statistical and ML models for mission planning, modeling and simulations.

You will own algorithms through their lifecycle and implement them in software. The position requires pursuing MS/PhD in Aerospace Eng, Robotics or Physics, strong Python skills, and a background in physics and math. US citizenship or the ability to obtain a security clearance is required.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing MS or PhD in Aerospace Eng, Robotics, Physics or related field.
  • Proficient in Python programming and software development practices.
  • Strong background in physics, math and statistics.
  • Experience developing algorithms and simulations.
  • Experience simulating dynamic systems and testing algorithmic performance.
  • Experience describing systems with equations of motion from first principles.
  • Experience presenting technical work via white papers and reports.
  • US citizenship or ability to obtain security clearance.
  • Experience with AI/ML, radar processing, aero performance or GNC.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own algorithms throughout their lifecycle, including conception, development, documentation, deployment, and testing.
  • Process and analyze raw data
  • Simulate and validate algorithmic performance using dynamic systems.
  • Present technical work through white papers, analysis test reports, and oral presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of algorithms into software solutions.
