Job summary

MORSE Corp is seeking an Aerospace Algorithms Engineer to develop novel physics, statistical, and mathematical models for mission planning tools used by military personnel and first responders. The role requires strong backgrounds in physics, aerospace, robotics, math, and statistics, plus the ability to implement algorithms in software for fieldable solutions.

You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of mission planning algorithms, work with cross-disciplinary teams, analyze raw data, and validate

Qualifications

  • MS or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, or Physics.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • US citizenship or ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Proficiency in Python and software development practices.
  • Strong background in physics, math, and statistics.
  • Experience with developing algorithms and simulations.
  • Experience describing systems via first-principles equations.
  • Experience presenting technical work through white papers and reports.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own algorithms throughout their lifecycle, including conception, development, documentation, deployment, and testing.
  • Process and analyze raw data
  • Simulate and validate algorithmic performance using dynamic systems.
  • Present technical work through white papers, analysis test reports, and oral presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of algorithms into software solutions.
