Job summary

MORSE Corp in Arlington, VA is seeking an Aerospace Algorithms Engineer to develop novel physics, statistical, and mathematical models for mission planning tools used by military personnel and first responders. You will own algorithms through their lifecycle and translate complex theory into robust software.

Qualifications

  • US citizenship required or the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
  • MS or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Physics or other relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace, robotics, or related areas.
  • Proficiency in Python and software development practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own algorithms throughout their lifecycle, including conception, development, documentation, deployment, and testing.
  • Process and analyze raw data.
  • Simulate and validate algorithmic performance using dynamic systems.
  • Present technical work through white papers, analysis test reports, and oral presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of algorithms into software solutions.
