Job summary

AAA USA Inc in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking an experienced aircraft painter to prepare parts, mix primers, apply coatings, and ensure finish quality in accordance with engineering specs. You will read drawings, measure coating thickness, maintain equipment, and support production while complying with safety and aerospace quality standards.

Relocation to Little Rock, AR may be required. You will work on elevated platforms, meet shift requirements, and contribute to continuous quality improvements

Qualifications

• Aircraft painting experience required.
• Experience operating industrial spray guns and paint application equipment.
• Ability to prepare, mask, prime, and paint aircraft structures and components.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Ability to distinguish colors, shades, and surface finishes with high accuracy.
• Ability to work from elevated platforms, lifts, scaffolding, and ladders.
• Must be willing and able to work any shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepare aircraft parts and assemblies for painting through cleaning, sanding, masking, and surface preparation.
• Mix primers, sealants, and topcoats according to specifications.
• Apply primers, coatings, and finish paints using spray equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and planning documents.
• Match paint colors and finishes to required specifications while ensuring coating consistency and quality.
• Perform paint touch-ups, rework, and repairs as required.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment to verify coating thickness and quality standards.
• Maintain paint booths, spray guns, and related equipment.
• Handle and dispose of paints, solvents, and hazardous materials per procedures.
• Support production schedules while complying with safety and aerospace quality standards.
