Job summary

Heven AeroTech is seeking an AI/ML Intern to support the development, testing, and deployment of artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions that enhance our unmanned aerial systems and business operations.

You will collaborate with software, systems, and engineering teams to gain hands-on experience with data analysis, ML models, computer vision, and AI-driven technologies in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals and data analysis concepts.
• Experience programming in Python.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, training, testing, and evaluation of machine learning and artificial intelligence models.
• Support data collection, cleaning, labeling, and preprocessing activities.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and generate insights from structured and unstructured datasets.
• Assist with computer vision, object detection, image processing, and autonomous system projects as applicable.
• Develop scripts, tools, and automation solutions to support AI/ML workflows.
• Participate in model validation, performance testing, and optimization efforts.
• Support the documentation of algorithms, datasets, experiments, and technical findings.
• Collaborate with software, systems, and engineering teams on cross-functional projects.
• Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and team meetings.
• Follow company policies, procedures, cybersecurity requirements, and engineering best practices.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
