Beehive Industries in Knoxville, TN is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Technician to support LPBF and MBJ systems in a regulated aerospace environment. You will assist with machine setup, powder handling, build preparation, post-build activities, and general production support in a fast-paced facility.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, traceability, and teamwork, with shift hours Thursday-Sunday 6am-4:30pm and opportunities to grow through hands-on training and collaboration with engineers,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with machine setup, build preparation, material loading, and powder handling.
• Perform routine machine cleaning, preventative maintenance, and housekeeping.
• Support powder recycling, sieving, storage, and material traceability requirements.
• Follow all quality procedures, documentation requirements, and production standards.
• Complete production records, inspection documentation, and work order tracking.
• Perform basic visual inspections of parts and report defects.
• Follow safety procedures related to metal powders, PPE, and industrial equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery.
• Work collaboratively with manufacturing engineers, quality, and production personnel.
• Assist in inventory management and material movement as needed.
• Operate hoists or other material handling equipment when trained and authorized.
