Job summary

Beehive Industries in Knoxville, TN is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and Quality to deliver high-precision jet propulsion projects on time and within budget. You will digest requirements, plan schedules, and partner with vendors to optimize the supply chain while driving cost savings.

The role requires a BS in a related field, 5+ years of PM experience (additive manufacturing preferred), Lean

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Sciences, Manufacturing, Supply chain, Industrial Engineering or close disciplines.
• 5+ years of relevant project management experience; additive manufacturing experience desired.
• PMP certification desired but not required.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the Manufacturing Product Development Team activities and ensure stakeholders are informed and accountable.
• Create and manage project schedules; coordinate with operations and other departments to deliver hardware.
• Communicate project progress, setbacks, and improvements with engineering throughout manufacturing.
• Anticipate risks, implement mitigation actions, and manage cost trades and budgets.
• Flow customer requirements into manufacturing reviews and feed-downs to suppliers.
• Work with vendors to obtain quotes, issue POs, and manage schedules.
• Establish machining supply chain strategy and onboard out-of-house vendors.
• Track hardware movement to ensure timely delivery to the next operation and end customer.
• Coordinate with departments to resolve non-conformances and change notices.
• Partner with finance and leadership on unit cost forecasting and cost-out projects.
