Job summary

Davis Machine in Euless, TX is seeking a CNC Programmer for 5-axis aerospace structures. You will program aluminum and titanium parts from model to first article on Hurco 3-axis and 5-axis VMCs, Mazak cells, and DMG 5-axis mill-turn.

You own the process plan, fixturing, toolpaths, and post, with prove-out at the machine. The role reports to the Engineering Manager and requires 7+ years in aerospace multi-axis programming, strong Mastercam or CATIA V5 skills, and AS9100 experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years programming multi-axis CNC mills (titanium, aluminum) for aerospace structures.
• Deep knowledge of Mastercam Multiaxis or CATIA V5 machining; both preferred.
• Experience with horizontal cells, tombstone fixturing, pallet systems, and 5-axis workflows.
• Fluent GD&T; experience carrying parts through AS9102 first article in AS9100 environment.
• US person as defined under ITAR/EAR for government/ITAR work.

Responsibilities

• Develop process plans and fixturing in collaboration with machinists and engineering.
• Select toolpaths and tools from existing library or new selections based on geometry.
• Prove-out at the machine and support first article inspections with Quality.
• Revise running parts and keep process documentation up to date.
• Participate in group reviews to support estimating and bids.
