Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal Engineer Systems in Melbourne, FL to lead system test activities, test planning, data analysis and reporting. The role requires collaboration with a diverse team and willingness to support multiple shifts during testing efforts.

The candidate will develop test procedures, participate in both formal and informal test events, and help generate official test artifacts for PCM/SRM releases while ensuring professionalism and strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM and 5+ years of related experience OR Master of Science in STEM and 3+ years OR STEM PhD with 1+ year.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. government Secret clearance (in-scope/Continuous Evaluation) and program access.
• Experience generating technical documents and using MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint; understanding test methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, execution and peer review of test procedures.
• Participate in formal and non-formal test events and planning.
• Analyze post-test data and report results; validate problem reports.
• Contribute to test artifacts for PCM and SRM releases; attend system test meetings.
• Willing to support multiple shifts and odd hours for testing needs.
