Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an Aeronautical Engineer to lead durability and damage-tolerance analyses ensuring airframe life-cycle requirements are met. You will certify airframe structural integrity through fatigue and fracture analyses and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive program decisions.

The role requires a background in mechanical/aerospace engineering, proficiency in MATLAB/Python, and experience with CAD/CAE tools. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering (Civil Engineers also considered).
• 1 year of relevant experience OR a Master's Degree in the listed fields.
• Experience with programming languages such as MATLAB, VBA, Visual Studio, or Python; CAD/CAE applications experience.

You will be the Aeronautical Engineer for the Aeronautics team which is responsible for delivering cutting‑edge airframe solutions.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering; Civil Engineers will also be considered

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
