Job summary

SNI Companies in Palmdale, CA is seeking a senior Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineer to lead multidisciplinary design integration for advanced aerospace and special-mission programs. Secret Clearance is required.

The engineer will guide airframe structural design and analysis, coordinating across structures, aerodynamics, propulsion and production. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, 10+ years in airframe structural design and analysis, and CATIA V5 and/or 3DX

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering
• 10+ years of airframe structural design and analysis experience
• 10+ years of metallic and/or composite design experience
• 10+ years of CATIA V5 and/or 3DX experience

Responsibilities

• Lead integration and design across structures, aerodynamics, propulsion, thermal systems, electronics, controls, and actuation
• Conduct multidisciplinary system trade studies for performance and cost optimization
• Support fabrication, assembly, MRB, quality, and supply-chain activities
• Prepare and present technical documentation to customers and internal teams
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across cross-functional teams

Seeking a senior Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineer to support advanced aerospace and special-mission programs. The engineer will lead multidisciplinary design integration and airframe structural design activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead integration and design across structures, aerodynamics, propulsion, thermal systems, electronics, controls, and actuation.
• Conduct multidisciplinary system trade studies for performance and cost optimization.
• Support fabrication, assembly, MRB, quality, and supply-chain activities.
• Prepare and present technical documentation to customers and internal teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering.
• 10+ years of airframe structural design and analysis experience.
• 10+ years of metallic and/or composite design experience.
• 10+ years of CATIA V5 and/or 3DX experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• GD&T experience.
• Hand stress analysis experience.
• MRB coordination/support.
• Experience working with suppliers, customers, and production operations.
• Experience with hypersonic boost-glide systems.
