Responsibilities

  • Lead integration and design synthesis across aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, thermodynamics, electronics, controls, and actuation.
  • Support and conduct multi-disciplinary system trade studies to optimize performance and cost.
  • Coordinate with fabrication, assembly, MRB, quality, and supply-chain teams to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Generate and present technical and administrative materials for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Mentor early-career engineers and champion the client culture across cross-functional teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)


  • Experience in airframe structure design and analysis

  • Experience with metallic and composite design

  • Experience with CATIA V5 and or 3DX

  • Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

  • Experience working with LM BAs

  • Experience interacting with suppliers, external customers and Production Operation

  • MRB coordination and support

  • Experience with hand stress analysis

  • Experience with hypersonic boost-glide systems

  • 10+ years of Experience in airframe structure design and analysis

  • 10+ years of Experience with metallic and/or composite design

  • 10+ years of Experience with CATIA V5 and/or 3DX

As the Aeronautical Engineer you will be responsible for driving the integration and design synthesis of Special Mission programs while collaborating across a multi-disciplinary team. REQUIRED EDUCATION


  • Accredited Bachelor’s or above Degree in an Engineering Discipline
